About me

My name is Malik Morgan, and I am currently working as a software engineer at the Organic Material Review Institute (OMRI), a nonprofit organization. I've always been passionate about building tech solutions to monitor, understand, and improve the environment and OMRI seemed Like a good place to start.

Recently, I've been working on various projects that explore this area using different GIS applications and frameworks, such as Google Maps API, Leaflet, Google Earth Engine, satellite image resources, and Jupyter Notebooks to analyze geospatial datasets.

I am still looking to expand my knowldedge with this tech, I recently decided to enroll in a course through OpenCV to learn more about AI, machine learning, computer vision, and deep learning Python libraries.

below you will find some projects I have been experimenting with and any current dev news
